So I am on maternity leave until January and thus haven't left my home much since November 7th when my son was born... well tomorrow my husband and I have a Christmas party/work meeting to attend for 2 hours...tomorrow(oops)... more than likely I will have to feed my son during this time at least once.. (he's a snacker... eat a little here and there throughout the day constantly) I don't bother covering up at home or when I visit my mom in laws.. so I really have no experience even attempting to be discreet(other than turning away to latch. Usually I just pull my shirt up and if I have on a tank top pull that up or down depending on the neckline. I pull my nursing bra down but haven't gotten the hang of latching baby without holding my breast in place for him.. I've been just pulling the whole thing out and letting the golden over bra cup support it for my baby...I hate using a blanket since i cant seem to get it to stay in place and i cant see to latch my baby.. also i don't own a "nursing cover".... does anyone have any tips on how to best nurse in front of my coworker, managers, and boss? I will have my husband, father, and mother in law as support (we all work together. Mil. Is part of management team) but I'm so scared! I do have a shirt mean for nursing but I just don't want to accidentally flash anyone!
