Lightening hair?

Does using vinegar to lighten your hair actually work? I normally use peroxide but it doesn't always work.

I haven't heard of vinegar . Lemon juice in the sunshine always worked when I was little x

I used to use lemon juice when i was younger and it lightened my hair. Ive heard vinegar works but have never used it for the purpose of lightening my hair.
