How do you wipe/clean up after peeing or pooping?

I was told that the proper way to "wipe" was from front to back but I was just curious as to how y'all do it . (I know weird) lol

I guess front to back is the proper way so that you don't contaminate anything, but I just can't. I've always wiped front to back so... and I've never had a uti, which I guess is the concern. Just be careful?

I see these posts all the time and I can't help shake my head at parents not teaching children from day 1 that you wipe front to back no matter what
