Implanon removal, TTC, period still no show been 9 weeks

I had regular periods before starting the pill in 2013 i stopped the pill, fell pregnant almost straight away had a miscarriage 6 wks, waited till my next period after the M/c and had the nexplanon put in nov 2014, i did not have a period at all or spotting during the time it was inserted, 2 years on i had gained about 70 pounds, i went to the dr about the weight gain and he sent me for tests, internal u/s diagnosed me with 20 cysts on each ovary so diagnosed me with PCOS and started me on 1000mg metformin a day, i had the implanon removed on 11/10/16 as my partner and i have decided to try to concieve, i have continued the 1000mg metformin a day and i have been having unprotected sex, i had brown discharge on 30/11/16 only showed when i wiped and lasted a few hours but nothing else since implanon was removed, it has been 7 days today since the discharge and still getting a negative hpt, when should i expect my periods? Its been 9 weeks, and what could the brown discharge be?

How long do u think i should wait for my period to return befor going and seeing the dr
