IUD (birth control)

Hello everyone! I am wanting to get a iud put in. I was wondering what was your experiences getting one put in? Good and bad experiences either way I would like to hear what you have to say. Also does it hurt getting it put in? What's it like after you get it put in? What are the side effects of after you have it put in? Have you gotten pregnant while having it in? What was your period like once you got it put in? Was your period worse better about the same or did it stop all together? Thanks everyone! Just want to hear everyone else's opinions on it.
