Fussy while feeding?

Does anyone else's baby constantly fuss and kick when breastfeeding? I just had my son on the boob for 40 minutes and he was fussing the entire time. He was still drinking tho so I didn't want to take him off. He will do this sometimes and other times he won't.

My girl does this almost every day when she is tired. I realized she isn't actually hungry and just wants to suck but my letdown is annoying her lol so I will usually just take her off, give her a paci and bounce her to sleep

Yes! I have to swaddle her when she's like that or she will claw me in my raw nipples and it HURTS

My 2 week old has been doing this. Grunting while nursing, fussing, and pushing me away. I pull him off and burp him, then relatch. His pediatrician told me yesterday to just take him off and give him a rest at that point. After a rest, try again and see. My son is gaining an ounce and a half a day his doctor said. So, he is getting a lot of milk lol

By daughter does this too! I was reading that it could mean the milk is coming out to fast and making them gassy. They suggested pumping a little before feeding to get rid of the overflow and burping a lot. I am gonna try pumping some before feeding and see if it helps!

I had the same issue and we finally figured out that she had mild tongue tie! We had it clipped yesterday and it's such a huge difference already.

My son does this too! So frustrating at 2am. Especially when my boobs are super full and he won't eat. He seems to get gassy at night. I've been giving him gripe water which seems to help. I give it some time, check his diaper and try again.

Mine will kick and toss if he's trying to poop and it's not happening, can be frustrating but only boob keeps him from crying.

Yeah I thought maybe she wasn't latched properly and not feeding well but I don't know.  It's frustrating.

You daughter did the same thing I stopped every now and the to burped her, seems to help alot

I've started sitting my baby on my lap after she feeds...it helps her pass gas... I also do it when she's like the way you described
