What's helped me is not accepting any other options. I never once considered formula, and just follow the lead of my little one. In the beginning I hoped to go for x amount of time. But now, 5 months later, I've let my girl just take the lead. Like the other gal said, these times are so fleeting, and seeing her sweet face as she nurses is so rewarding.

Honestly, remember to enjoy these exact moments. It's such a small amount of time that you are giving up your body, when you think about how long our lives are in comparison. I'm eight months strong with my girl and I feel sad thinking about the day she weans because I look at her sweet face when she's nursing in the middle of the night and remember how lucky I am to be the mom to such an amazing little person! ❤️
