Not prepared?

Does anyone else feel like they aren't prepared enough for baby?  We have the crib, clothes, nursery done, birth plan, and all that but we are missing the car seat, and breast pump.  I feel like no matter how many things we accumulate we just aren't going to be prepared enough 😂 I feel like I'm going crazy.

Me. I only have a few outfits because the rest are going to be hand me downs from my brother's first born. I still don't have baby's car seat, crib, a breast pump, or any other essentials. I'm definitely planning on having everything ready, including the hospital bag, by mid or the end of January.

Yes. YES. Omg. I keep making lists. Of things I still need to do, things I still need to get...I just want to not worry when I go into labor. To know everything will be fine and enjoy my baby.

Right now I'm worried about the changing table, changing pad, rocker, bottle warmer and carrier. But the room is painted, curtains are up, and crib and mattress are all ready. He has plenty of clothes, diapers wipes, and bottles. I just want everything ready now.

The first thing I received was my breast pump simply because it was easy to order online and covered by insurance. Lol. But I still need to get all of my big stuff. (Car seat, crib, bedding, dresser, changing table, swing, rock and play) I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but plan to make the rest of the purchases this weekend.

I feel like I am prepared mentally/emotionally but not physically in the least. My boyfriend and I just moved and still in the process of renovations and unpacking so besides a mattress for the crib (that we don't have yet) a glider, and a few miscellaneous items that we have recieved so far we don't have anything for the nursery yet but plan to have everything done by the beginning/middle of January so not too worried. 😅

It's common. We have everything we need physically for the baby and now we need to become mentally prepared.

You should check with your health insurance company. I was told today that they all provide some sort of breast pumps for free.
