Store bought or homemade ornaments for baby's first Christmas?

I want to make one myself but it's so much cheaper and easier to just buy one. What are you ladies doing?

My mom bought me one of the dated daughter hallmark ornaments every year (until I was 22). I plan on doing the same thing for my baby girl when she's born

I bought a box of plain ornaments from Walmart for like $3 and bought some white paint and painted my kids' hands then stuck them on the ornaments then took a sharpie and drew eyes on the top of the fingers and top hats so they look like snowmen they came out really neat I wish I had a picture but they're packed up right now

I will buy one and use a clear ball to put in his bracelet and paint some snowflakes on it. Easy Peasy and fairly cheap as well.. I'm buying one just so I have a pretty one.. I'm crafty but not that crafty..lol
