Success with Clomid?

Question

Did anyone who DOES ovulate on their own have successful pregnancies with clomid??
 
​I do ovulate, but have been ttc for 18 months with no luck or explanation, and I was just prescribed clomid.  
​
​Anyone have any stories?? Or tips... Or insights to side effects??

I have a regular period and regular ovulation every month same time. Husbands test all came back good. We tried for awhile with no luck. Dr prescribed me clomid 50mg and after first time we got our BFP!  I'm 5weeks5days. My numbers are going up every 48hours!  Good luck!!

We've tried for 13months, all was good - ovulated on my own, hubby passed all his tests - but still only got BFN's.
​Doc prescribed 25mg of clomid and it worked on the first month! We're 8.5weeks pregnant with our first little bundle of joy now!

I had my first baby after my second round of Clomid. I don't ovulate on my own so I think of this drug as a miracle. I'm currently on my fourth round trying for baby #2. So far I've only ovulated last month on 150 mg. I used the same dose this month and didn't ovulate, which is totally frustrating. But I'm proof that it does work, even when you think you might never have a baby. So good luck to you and all the other Clomid users out there!

I used clomid to concieve this baby and it took us two rounds.  I have pcos and had ovarian drilling done to get rid of my cysts four months before I concieved. I was ovulating on my own before my surgery but it was few and far between. The longest I know it went between O was 4 months. After the surgery they tracked me with ultrasound and I ovulated each month until I concieved. The clomid was the only thing that really made it work fully and guaranteed I would ovulate. I took metformin and had the hcg shot too. I am now almost 18 weeks pregnant. Best of luck and definitely give clomid a shot if you are prescribed it! I truly believe it

I was just curious if you had any success yet? I just started clomid and DO ovulate on my own so I'm wondering how your story is going?!

I do ovulate on my own but not at a high enough quality so I take clomid. I took it and we increased the dose until my progesterone levels were more normal. Then I had a chemical pregnancy and we learned I needed highe progesterone levels to sustain a pregnancy. So back to clomid at a higher dose. I'm currently at 150 mg and have been for a few cycles. Hopefully this will be the one. I have some side effects that are more pronounced the higher the dosage. I get hot flashes and moody. Oh so moody! Pms is a little worse but it's like I get a second pms around ovulation. Which makes BDing less enticing lol.
