Successful VBAC with CPD?

Question

I was never informed with my first child that they "suspected CPD" and that's why I had an emergency csection (failure to progress past 8cm). I just found this out when I saw a new doc and he reviewed my old files. He did mention that VBAC  is possible but uterine rupture and emergency csection can still occur. 
My main question is has anyone been told they had CPD and were able to deliver vaginally?

I'd suggest doing some research about CPD & how rare it is. True CPD is extremely rare! With my first, I had a horrible experience w/a dr that basically treated me like a number. I got to 4cm, stalled there for a few hours, & the impatient dr basically told the nurse to let me know I'd be having a c-section. When I was recovering he came & told me my pelvis is too small to naturally birth a baby & that I'd always have to have c-sections. I didn't know any better at the time other than to just trust my dr, but that never sat well w/me (& I fell into a horrible depression). I later ended up doing some research about it & found that a CPD diagnosis is too often given from dr's who are too impatient to wait for a longer labor or don't have any explanation for a stalled labor. I'd do some research about CPD & find a really VBAC-friendly, supportive dr or midwife. Good luck 😊

I was just informed the same thing happened to me with my first but I stopped progressing at 6cm. My doctor now said she is more than happy to let me try and have a vbac but can't promise that it will happen. We are just seeing how things go and progress from now on as I am currently 28wkd+2days with my little man. And actually measuring about 5 days ahead she said. I'm hoping to have a vbac due to recovery time but whichever is fine as long as my little man comes out heathly.
