The name Reuben ?

Hi ladies, my SO and I love this name but when both telling our grandads they said "but that's a Jewish name" 
Does it matter??? 
We arnt Jewish

Any name from the Bible is Jewish lol and there are a ton of "Sarah, Samuel, David, Issac, Isaiah etc" in this world! Go for it, it's not uncommon.

My fiancé is named Ruben, different spelling but not Jewish.  He hates his name...I don't think it helps that I call him Ruby lol
