when does it get better???

Does it ever get better??? I have a four month old that still wakes up every 2-3 hrs to eat.. every night it's a struggle to put her down for the night. She dnt sleep during the day she's awake all day.. most of the days she's fussy just wants to be held... idk y people say it gets better cuz I feel like it's never gna get better I'm so exhausted all the time and beyond sleepy... it's like I have a newborn... I feel lik I'm failing I c other moms on here saying there babies sleep all night and ain't fussy and happy babies and I feel lik my baby girl is not happy.. I get so depressed sometimes cuz I feel lik it's never gna get better I love her so much and I'm so thankful that god has blessed me wit a daughter (I have two boys and always wanted a daughter) sorry just needed to vent... thanks ladies!!!

Hang in there. She will get there soon. Every baby is different, try not to compare with others. You are in no way failing.

Try to get somebody to watch her for you so you can get some sleep. It doesn't necessarily have to be a daily thing, but a good nap or solid night's sleep once a week will do wonders. My last baby was like this and I swore I was going to go crazy from lack of sleep. He eventually figured it out. :-) I can't remember how old he was. During the time it seemed it would never end. Now, it's like it didn't happen.

My son is the same. Crappy naps during the day 30-45 minutes. Always wanting to be held during the day. Hard to lay down for sleep, as soon as his head hits the mattress his eyes pop open and quickly followed with a scream. And now waking every 2-3 hours at night. I used to at least get a 5 hour stretch but not any more. I keep telling myself that it's got to get better. Hang in there! You're not alone

Ugh I'm so sorry you are having a rough time. Everyone else is right tho, every baby is different and it will get better! My first baby was so easy compared to my current baby. He is much more serious and fussy and man has he got a set of lungs on him. When he is upset he doesn't just cry, he screams. However, when he reaches a new milestone I can't help but get teary and think how fast it's all going. The days are long but the months fly by! I agree to try to get some help every so often but it is true that they grow up so fast and you'll be missing that baby when you have a feisty toddler running around!

Same here 😂 instead of getting depressed I just laugh about it! I work full time so it's soooo exhausting! But I guess my body is getting use to not sleeping. He wants to be held all day too and cries for everything! He's my first so I'm like when will he stop. He wakes up all the time during the night also. So I'm just dealing with it. Won't complain anymore. I love him and I was waiting for him for so long so I just pray one day he'll get better. lol I get you and I was the same way but this is how it is and we just can't change it. Every baby is different.

My daughter is the same 😕 we are up every night every 2-3 hours round the clock. She is a crap sleeper and I feel like hell because of it. You're not alome❤️

Just have to find what works for both of you. My mom watches my son and she can get him to nap 3-4 hours at a time while I'm at work. At home I can't seem to get him to do that except for his first nap the rest he just like to be held and sleep which I'll pick this time to catch up on Netflix or snooze myself. We also bed share at night (we breastfeed) and he'll wake up at most 2 times. Soon we're going to work on sleeping in his bassinet at night.
