I know the results are noted as normal but is a 22mm endometrial thingie normal for this stage? Also would the thickness be the reason they didn't see a sac or maybe that I'm just too early to see a sac?

I just had the same thing! Nothing seen on the uss except a "lovely thick endometrium lining". I have to go back in a couple of weeks for another scan. Fingers crossed for us both xxx

I believe you wouldnt be able to see a sac until 5 weeks

If it says it's within normal limits, it's within normal limits.
Don't freak yourself out and work yourself up.

This is a medical professional telling you it's normal. Someone who's done years and years of schooling.

They wouldn't say it's normal if it wasn't

If I remember what I studied in embryology around 10 years ago, the endometrial tissues thicken in preparation for pregnancy every month (due to high progesterone). If the egg is not fertilized, the progesterone levels drop and that signals to the endometrium to shed and you get your period. If the egg is fertilized, progesterone levels remain elevated and the period is missed while the embryo gets implanted in the nice thickened endometrium (some women may need extra progesterone to help maintain it).
I always remembered this detail because I found it interesting that we get periods every month because our bodies are throwing a tantrum because we didn't reproduce 😑

I guess what they're saying in the report is although no sac was seen (too early), the endometrial tissue is thick (the whole point of it getting thick in the first place is to support a pregnancy). So there is a possibility of pregnancy as it still hasn't shed but still early to tell for sure. 
Did they give you an appointment for a follow up scan?

If they had concerns they would have let you know. If you have further questions just give them a call and speak to them. They rather you get the correct information from them than random people.
