amber teething necklace

I want to know everyone's opinions on these amber teething necklaces. Apparently when wearing the necklace the baby's heat warms the amber up which causes it to release an oil, once absorbed by the baby's skin, the oil helps to bring the swelling down in his/her gums, hopefully making baby feel better.
Any moms that have used this with positive results?
Any moms with negative results?
