When me and my partner met we knew we were meant for each other, but I wouldn't say we were in love until about a year later. We were infatuated and yeah there was a lot of lust but I wouldn't have called it love. We've been together 10 years now 👍.

Everyone is different and every relationship is different. I think you're trying to protect your heart by not wanting to fall for him too soon, which is wise considering the way relationships go nowadays. But if you feel it there's nothing you can do about it. I would advise you to keep your feelings to yourself though until either he says it first or you can see that he's really down for you. But some people fall in love in a matter of days and others it takes months.

I knew I was in love with him the moment I met him strange I no but it felt completely different to anything I. Had ever felt, he told me he loved me after 8 days and I told him then next nite we been together 6 years and I really have never been so happy and of course we have our gorgeous 7 wk old little boy 💙

We knew we were falling for each other within 2.5/3 weeks, I flew w/ him & his son (who was 3 @ the time) across the country to meet his parents & siblings after a month & a half of dating, we moved in together 2 weeks after that & were engaged 6 months after that. We got married a year & a day after our 1st date, just had our 2 year wedding anniversary & expecting a baby girl in Feb. :) Our families were a little concerned @ the speed of our relationship but like one of the other commenters said When u know, u know! (For the record he did say "I Love You" 1st so I knew he was on the same page as me! :)
