Am I overweight?

Question

I'm 18, 5'3", and 148 lbs. Does that make me overweight?

Literally me except I just turned 19. I ecersice 3-4 times a week and I am very active every day (walking around campus, going on hikes). I also try to eat healthy. I usually splurge once a day so I'll either have a cookie or a small French fry. I have an athletic body type with a lot of muscle. Don't listen to the BMI calculator because it is often wrong and doesn't calculate things like muscle mass. As long as you are somewhat active and eat moderately healthy you have nothing to worry about. If you are worried talk to your doctor. They will know more about you than what we can suggest through this site. Remember to just be happy with what you were given and you always have the option to eat healthier or work out more if you are unhappy (as long as it doesn't turn into an obsession). Hope I helped 😊

I'm 23, 5'3' and 144 lbs. I'm considered overweight but to me it's about being happy with who you are. We all carry weight differently and who wants a bean pole to hang onto? 😍😉

Tbh I see your weight as a blessing. I'm the same age, same height and I'm a good 44lbs less than you ( these put 2 weeks I've lost 10lbs, i have no idea why, is so odd). But I've been trying to gain weight for the longest time and i can't. So to me your lucky. 
I also know some girls that height, age and weight and they're fine, not overweight just thickalicious. So no boo you're  not overweight.

I'm the same height as you, just 16, and I'm around 130. My doctor says I'm literally on the brink of being overweight but idk. It might be a different case for you

It's because of how short you are the more taller you are the more you're going to weigh but since you're like 5'3 you should weigh around 130 or lower I'm 5'5 and weigh 120 so....

I only said yes because my dr told me at 5'5 I should weight 120 minimum but weigh 110.

I only say yes because I am 5'4 and I'm 160 and I'm suppose to weigh 139 so being 5'3 your normal weight is probably 125

Only by about 10 pounds so it's not anything to be too concerned about at this point.
