Does this mean anything?

Hello everyone! Being a FTM and a teacher, I always have questions. :) Last week Wednesday, we had an ultrasound due to the fact that I was spotting. All is well but we found out that baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead. Today, baby would have turned 32 weeks but according to his US, he would be 35 weeks. She said he is approximately 5 pounds right now. Does that mean we should expect him soon than we thought? What might it be otherwise? We have our follow up OB appointment tomorrow but I just wanted to see what other experiences that mommies have had. :)
