Trying to conceive with irregular period

Hi guys first I want to say I'm 21 and trying to conceive .about 4 years ago when I was on the depo birth control shot I only stayed on for about 3 shots so like almost a year and I stopped taking them because it gave me a long menstrual which was longer then normal my menstrual continued for months when it finally stopped I didn't get a period anymore for months and months the only way I could get a menstrual is if I took a birth control pill so now almost 4 years later I still do not have my own menstrual And I'm trying to conceive out the blew April 5 I had my own menstrual which lasted 5 days so I finally thought I had hope I have been attempting to conceive so now I'm playin the wait game a week after my menstrual I took a ovulation test which came back positive so I have my fingers crossed waiting for some good news .
