has anyone had a 35 weeker?

Pretty concerned my little guy will make his apperence soon... so wondering how your baby did at 35 weeks. Both of my girls where born at 37 with no problems at all....

I had my little one at 31 and 2, she's now almost 9 weeks old. Still at the NICU but almost ready to go home! She was only 1 pound 10 oz so she has had troubles staying warm. Your little one may have a little time in the NICU but I'm guessing will do great!

I had my son at 35&3, he was 5lbs 9oz and had mild respiratory distress syndrome, they kept him on CPAP in the NICU for 4 days and then he had some feeding issues mostly because he was so sleepy. We were there a total of 13 days. He's now a healthy 3 month old 11lbs 11oz.

My son was born at 36weeks ,we spent 6days in NICU to fight off an infection. He is now a very happy and healthy 9month old reaching all his developing milestones earlier than usual.

Our twin girls were 35 weeks ( or 35.5 depending which doctor you believe) and they are doing great now at 3 weeks old.  We had short NICU stays for each out of caution.

They both had some suck/swallow challenges so we had to do paced feedings for a few days but now they're rocking that. Twin B has some reflux and is on Zantac but as long as she takes it and we have her mattress elevated, no issues. They say she will likely outgrow that.

Mine were 5lb 12oz and 6lb 3oz at birth at 35 weeks.

Had my twin girls last month at 34.4 weeks. 
4 pounds 15 ounces and 5 pounds 8 ounces. Two steroid shots and no nicu times :)

Had my daughter at 35+2.  Spent 2 weeks in NICU because her lungs hadn't fully developed and she developed a neumothorax (bubble between ribs and lung) and jaundice.  The second week in the NICU was to make sure she was eating without getting too tired. For 35 weekers it is mostly lung issues and eating issues . It depends on the baby, some at 35 weeks are totally fine with their lungs others need a bit of help.  Most NICUs have strict feeding rules before you go home so be ready for that and they have to pass the car seat test.  Barring any really big health issues your baby would probably be out between 3 days to 2 weeks.

My baby was born on Oct 31 at 35 weeks and 3 day . Her weight  was 5 pound 1 oz. She spent one day in nicu for minor temperature and blood sugar issues. She left the same day as me on Nov 2 and has been doing fine since.
