how are you defrosting baby food?

I made some cubes of baby food purée and then realized, I don't know what the best way to defrost is! Should I have been defrosting it in the fridge or is a warm water bath okay?

If I think ahead I do defrost in the fridge but I have defrosted it with water before too xxx

If I remember I put them in the fridge the night before if I forget which I tend to do a lot I deforst in a water bath

I defrost in the fridge most of the time. I take them out the night before and leave them in there.

I leave the cubes in the fridge every night for the next day.
