Concerned about multiple fathers of your children?

So a totally non judgemental question.. my fiancé has two boys with two different mothers, and for the longest time he told me that he did not want any more children cause he can't handle the thought of three different children with three different mothers. Can anyone relate to this? Has anyone else had these worries? Like he could have had 12 kids with 12 moms or 12 kids with the same mom and it doesn't bother me any.

I hate when people see kids as numbers or base their future life off of their past. "There's no such thing as step kids, I call them bonus kids" just because someone has kids doesn't mean they can't have kids with someone new.

My son and daughter have different biological fathers, but my husband is the only dad my son has ever known. The word "half" is not welcome in our home, nor is the word "step". He's her brother and she's his sister and that's that. My husband has never referred to my son as his step-son, unless he (or I) are explaining our family to a new friend who wasn't around before our wedding

I have 2 half siblings but we never were taught to think that way growing up. We knew but we still treated each other as full siblings. Now we're all grown my half brother is the only one that likes to point this out and it bothers me bc that's not how we were raised. I have other half siblings I have no relationship with bc they never tried to while I was growing up. My thoughts is don't do that, let the kids be around each other and don't treat them different just bc they're half siblings. You can explain it to them but don't let them treat each other different bc of it

It most likely has to do with the mother's and not the kids. Life is hard when you have to deal with someone the rest of your life that you would rather not have in your life anymore. My SO loves his kid but cannot stand his ex. He already knows that if we have a kid and we split up for whatever reason that he wont have to fight me for joint custody like he did with his ex.

My mom had 4 kids by 3 different men and it was hard on me growing up because my step dad raised me as his own but all my siblings treated me like I was the dog of the family because my biological father never involved himself in my life. My two younger sister's (who have the same dad) hated that their dad loved me too. My older brother always said I was adopted which was hurtful for no reason it never affected him he lived with his dad as an only child his whole life he would only visit us for a couple weeks every year and just picked on me the whole time. When I decided to have kids I told my husband I was only having kids with him and he was only having kids with me to avoid this reoccurring.

Since I've been TTC and talking to my mom about things, she admitted that she wanted more kids than just my brother and me. But she was worried about having kids with three different fathers. Because of that, my stepdad (who is wonderful) has no children of his own. It breaks my heart. People fear the stigma that's associated with things like that. And they shouldn't be. They should do what makes them happy.

My mom had me and my 2 brothers by 3 different guys. I love them no matter what. But I can't respect my mother and I'd never want to have multiple kids by multiple guys myself.

I have four siblings.

My mom had 3 kids. All different fathers

My father had 3 kids also, two siblings have the same mom than I have a different mom.

I see ALL my siblings as full siblings. I don't understand the term 'half blood' technical use, yes. But ohana means family, and that means family never gets left behind. ❤️

For real. Have as many kids with as many people as you want. What's the big deal? As long as everybody is in agreesnce, why not?! More the merrier.
