What do you do in the evenings to keep busy???

We live in the Midwest and the winters are horribly boring. My husband and I have no kids and work 9-5 jobs. We come home, make dinner, then sit on the couch and watch TV until we fall asleep on the couch. It is so boring. What do you ladies do with your down time with your SO? We need to figure something out because it is starting to cause fights. Thanks for your suggestions!
