When should I restart NuvaRing?

So I was in the hospital for eight days. I was supposed to put in a new ring on the 4th but I was in the hospital until yesterday, so should I just wait until next month? (the rings are back at campus so I couldn't get them like right now)

Answer

You can start a new ring when you get to it. It's the safest option to keep it working. HOWEVER, its not gonna be as reliable as always since your body might have ovulated just before you put the ring. Use extra protection  until its time to put the next ring (the ring after this new one).
