Polycystic ovaries?

Anyone on here have polycystic ovaries and TTC? Went for an appointment today and they're thinking I may have polycystic ovaries. I'm really scared this May effect me? They've advised me to not get pregnant for at least 3 months (they don't know if I am already pregnant or not) Anyone have any advise? Or know anything about TTC when having polycystic ovaries?

TTCing with PCOS is very possible - just a little harder at times. It depends on your symptoms: Are you overweight? Acne? Hair loss? 

Are you ovulating? Do you have regular periods? 

We have a PCOS support group in the health and fitness room - please take a peak. 

There are lots of ways to get treatment for PCOS and conceive. The key is to be as well informed as possible.

Hey there, yes I do.. I found out when I was 22 (27 now) so I've had plenty of time to get my weight down and make sure my diet supports PCOS. In relation to TTC. Basically girls with PCOS will only ovulate around an average of 9 times per year as apposed to an average of 12. We just have a harder time trying to figure out when were ovulating, keeping weight down and using a opk's can help loads with that problem. It's a pain, it's deff harder to fall pregnant but don't worry there's medication you can take to help you ovulate. It's just a small hurdle. I remember when I got diagnosed my dr told me that Vic Beckam has PCOS, and she has 4 beautiful boys so I'm sure we will all get our bubbas one day! GL xx
