pregnancy scare?

i'm a week late for my period and i'm getting a little nervous. i am sexually active but i always use protection and have my boyfriend pull out to be extra safe. he never precums so i feel like it's not an issue. are there any other reasons my period could be late?

i've had discharge and super painful cramps. could that be part of my period just early?

Hey girl! So, I do the exact same thing as you! I've been in the same boat. Once my period was a whole two weeks late! I was so so scared. I thought I had signs bc I would get cramps, headaches dizziness etc...  but girl I highly doubt that you're pregnant. It's normal for periods to fluctuate. Idk why mine was late? But it happens. I ended up talking to my mom and she told me when she was my age that sometimes she'd skip for months!! So don't worry, maybe to ease some nerves you can buy a first response pregnancy test just to show you that you're not pregnant! For future advice tho, I recommend checking the condom for rips or small holes before AND after use. May be a little gross, but when my boyfriend takes his condom off he always ties a knot and squeezes to check for any leaks to make sure that it was good throughout sexy times! That way you're double sure that ur not pregnant, so that I'd ur period is late again you won't have to freak out. Haha! Stay safe, and be calm!!:-)
