Can endo grow back after surgery?

Hi everyone! My name is Emily! I'm 17. I had my first endo surgery two years ago, I had stage two and they got it all. Then put me on birth control to help with it growing back, but lately all of my symptoms are coming back full forced for the past 4 to 5 months. I'm starting to worry it might be growing back. Should I be concerned?

There is no cure, not even the surgery. The lap relieves some of the pain and stalls some of the tissue growth, but yes, it does grow back. I had my second surgery this past July. When I was first diagnosed my doctor said I will probably be having these surgeries every two years until I'm ready to start trying to have a baby.

Oh yeah, endo never really goes away forever. It does get better when you are being treated, have a hysterectomy, or go through menopause, but it's always possible to come back. You might want to look at an anti-inflammatory diet. I had an ovarian cyst with endo, and it eventually shrank away, and I have very little pain.

Yes, endometriosis is chronic and has no known cure.

There is no cure for endo. it doesnt matter if you have a lap or a hysterectomy it will still grow. I've read many things on women having it excised instead of burned off and had much better results, but it still will always be there.

I suffer from it also but mine is so bad that mt ovaries colon and uterus were all in one big ball and hee said they will hsve to do a second surgery to take a piece of my colon as it has been infected by my endometriosis. he told me try to get pregnant because it will only get worse before it gets better..... good luck my love
