4w HCG levels - worried I may be miscarrying

I found out I was pregnant the day before my expected period day, but then the following day (period day) I woke up to some bleeding. It was red and somewhat heavy with a few clots but it never went onto my pad, then changed to brown spotting shortly after and has stopped all together.

I am worried I am MCing but went in for blood work and my HCG level was 614. Waiting to receive the results from the second round of blood work to see if my levels have increased.

Has anyone else experienced this and what was the outcome? I am trying not to get my hopes up.
