I really don't want to give up!!

My baby is 8 days old, I am trying my very best to exclusively breastfeed only but for the last two nights all my baby has been wanting to do is stay on my breast ALLL NIGHT LONG! & when I mean all night l literally mean all night. I can't sleep al all, I have to sleep sitting up. Idk what to do or if this is normal? When I try to put him down because he seems to be asleep he'll start crying and seems hungry because he starts looking for my breast turning his head opening his mouth. Anyone ever been through this? It takes me so long to feed him through the day I feel like he's rarely satisfied!!! I've been doing some reading but I feel like I'm doing it all wrong. Help
