Meeting parents?

My boyfriend and I are freshmen in highschool. We have been dating since September and I love him as much as a 14 year old can. But he says that he wants to meet my parents and that I should meet his and I'm like uh no, we've barely even been dating 3 months. And I don't wanna hurt his feelings or anything but it's not like I plan on marrying him or that this isnt one of many highschool relationships and I just don't wanna bring too many guys around to meet my parents unless they're really special and what do I do? Should i meet them or just jeep it between us? Keep in mind we have never even gone on a real date, he wabts to but my parents would never let me do that and my excuses are kinda running low.

Honestly it sounds a lot like me when I was younger. I NEVER let any boy come over to my house. I never wanted to tell my dad I was in a relationship. But I did go to his house often, I grew very close to every ex boyfriends family. But now that I've been graduated I wish that I never dated through out highschool. I lost a lot of friends, and missed out on many of my own family gatherings. I know I can't tell you to not date people... but just make sure you realllllyy  like the guy before bringing him home.  I had 3 boyfriends in high school when I really liked one my family didn't take me serious.. so that's my advice.

I've been dating my boyfriend for over seven months and I still don't want him to meet my parents yet 😂😂😂 girl, I love how realistic you are. If you don't want him to meet your parents or you don't want to meet his, he should respect that decision. Tell him you're not comfortable with it yet and/or that it's too early--if he gets mad about it, that's ridiculous. I refuse to let anyone I date meet my parents unless I know it's serious and he's comfortable in doing it. So far, no one I've dated has met my parents. Maybe in like eight more months, if I feel this relationship is going somewhere and my boyfriend is actually up to it, he'll meet my parents. But I can't just bring any guy to meet them! Especially now that I'm almost done with college. 
Do what you think you're comfortable with--it seems like you feel that it's just too much for a new relationship. And that's okay. Move at your own pace.

Just be honest w him! Tell him you don't want to meet his parents for the time being bc you don't feel comfortable w that; he should respect that

Why wouldn't you want to meet his parents? My husband met my mom the day we started dating and I met him family a week after!

It's nice that he's trying to meet your parents, it's a very sweet gesture but if you don't want to just tell him you think it's too soon. Give him an idea of when you would want to meet his parents, like maybe at the one year mark. Just tell him you're not ready to do that.

Go with your gut! If you feel it's too soon don't do it. Seems REALLY soon tbh
