don't talk to someone else with the intention of finding a substitute for your ex. It wont work.. talk to him if you enjoy talking to him but if you think he is starting to develop feelings for you and you're still hung up on the other guy, you need to be honest and let the new guy know. Just don't fake feelings for attention!

In 2016, talking could literally mean anything. Not everything needs to be serious, i think it fine, as long as he knows it what's up, in fact it might even help you get over the person you're hung up on.
