Due date is tomorrow. No signs of contraction

My baby's due date is tomorrow and I do not feel any contractions. I went to the doctors last Friday and was 1cm dilated. Then went again this past Tuesday for a sweep and I was 3cm. Does that mean I'm progressing and is having contractions but just can't feel them? Only pain I've felt so far is making me use the bathroom... Is that a sign of early labor? Anyone else have pains that's making them feel like they need to use the bathroom? Cuz I know my period pains when on my period makes me need to use the bathroom. So I'm wondering if it will be the same for contractions. Does contractions really happen out the blue? Want to know if my baby will come on time tomorrow on his due date.
