When will you have your baby shower?

When is your preferred time frame? :)

My mom is so excited, we're not due until August 3rd but she's already got a shower date set for May 14th! Silly ;)

I feel like the 3rd trimester makes the most sense, but mine may end up being at the end of the 2nd. My good friend is leaving for FL sometime in May and I would love to make sure she can be there like I was for hers.

When I had my son, mine was the beginning of my 3rd trimester. But lately I've been seeing some of my friends having their shower a couple weeks after the baby is born. Everyone (men included) come to their house, visit the baby, eat food and bring gifts. For some reason that just makes sense to me lol. I might try it :)
