Can you get pregnant while switching pill brands?

Question

I'm nearing the end of my pack, and my pharmacy unexpectedly gave me a new brand of birth control pills. 
I'm currently on Junel Fe, and they just gave me Microgestin Fe (generic of Junel Fe). I looked them up, they seem exactly identical...
I'm extremely happy with Junel Fe, I don't get sick on my periods anymore, not one complaint! I'm worried this change will have different effects..
Can I also get pregnant while switching between the two? I have two inactive pills left, and my fiancé comes back from deployment 4 days from now...

You'll probably want to use backup protection for the first week to be extra safe if you're going to take the Microgestin Fe. But if I were you I'd go back to the pharmacy to get the correct prescription. It's technically a different medication and they shouldn't be switching you to the generic version without notifying you or your doctor. You're being prescribed Junel Fe so that's what they should be giving you. Since it's just BC it probably won't be dangerous but still, it's inappropriate on their part.

You will not get pregnant. They are the same medicine, just made by different companies. There is potential to have more side effects with one or the other only because of the "inactive ingredients" they choose to use. I was on that same pill and I swear every time I picked it up it was a different one. It won't cause any harm.
