What's your opinion?

So I'd like to hear your opinions on this topic: how do you feel about drinking while TTC? 
I know that there is a very low risk of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome if you stop drinking as soon as you get a positive, but do you feel like drinking hinders your ability to conceive?

I generally don't drink when ttc. I had one beer the other day. Last time my dr said you get a little bit of a free bee those first few weeks before testing so it shouldn't cause issues. I don't really drink anyway so it's pretty easy for me to cut out. Now caffeine and sushi...that's more difficult!

I drink pretty rarely anyway, but if I was someone who drank more I would reduce my intake while TTC.

I just saw my OBGYN today and she said that unless you get a positive pregnancy test, it's ok to have some wine or whatever but to not drink excessively! I asked her since I've been refraining from alcohol for the past week (no wine after a stressful day) but she said it's ok because you're not officially pregnant until implantation. Either way, I'll say drink responsibly if you choose to as it may relieve some of the holiday stress!

I think that if you just drink in moderation you'll be okay, I hardly drink as it is so I haven't felt a need to change my habits! I think it's like more than five drinks in a week makes it harder to conceive. Alcohol can have an affect on male fertility but again I think this applies to heavily drinking.

I honestly don't think it matter til implantation but I'm not trying to mess anything up cuz I want to get pregnant as soon as possible since already had to delay trying 6 months. But I have been limiting my drinking for the last month just bc I knew I was going to try this month. Would love more info & any doc tips. I didn't even think to ask mine. I only asked her about my meds.
