How to correct pass mistakes

I've been doing a lot of thinking as of lately. A lot of wrongs that I have done keep coming to mind. But most of all is giving bad advice to loved ones because I didn't want to appear judgmental. You know when you're doing wrong and you don't feel worthy of trying to tell someone else that they are doing wrong. I have been wondering if its ever to late to correct a wrong. Is it ever to late to tell that person that I did wrong by supporting them in that sin even though I was sinning too. I just want to know you ladies opinion on that.
