Spending time together

Okay you guys my boyfriend works 5 days out of the week and we really usually only see each other once or twice on the weekends. We don't live together, and we've been together for a little over a year. We've been talking about moving in together recently and thought it would be "better financially" if his two friends who are a couple moved in with us too. I didn't agree cuz I just want it to be me and him, and we argued about that. Well, yesterday I asked if he was coming over since it's on a weekend and we're both free. He said that he didn't want to, the roads were bad (even though he's taking his friend to work) and if anything we could go on a double with his same friends then go back to his friends house. THEN he said if his friends weren't going to dinner (as the double date) then he's not seeing me. Really?! Since when did their actions have anything to do with our plans... I feel like something is wrong and I don't know what it is. Do you guys have any options or advice?
