Went into l&d triage last night for what I figured were contractions. They started in my ribs and made my ribs really tight then worked their way down towards my pelvis. They did this for two days then last night they went to my back as well. They confirmed I'm having some decent contractions and gave me my first steroid shot for the babies lung development. But my cervix is still high and closed. How long did you ladies have contractions with a high and closed cervix before you started to dilate? Or even delivered? Kinda hoping they stay in there but at the same time this pain and bedrest is tough.
