baby shower date??

Im due june 6. Would may 6 be too late to have a baby shower ?

For me it would be because I want to be able to buy whatever else we needed that we didn't get from the shower and have the nursery all set up and ready in case the baby came early.

Due June 2nd, shower March 11 or 18 because all of our family lives 6 hours away, 4 sets of parents and siblings too and I know they won't travel to us and we don't have room for everyone here so with it being a long trip and my patience getting less and less as time goes on with the long car trips I know March is as late as I'm willing to travel.
