How do you ladies feel about it ??? Or Who has done it already ..... My next appointment is January 9th and my doctor has recommended it ?

I did mine today. I would like to be as prepared as possible. I'd need to make sure my hospital is equipped to deliver a special needs baby and could operate etc if necessary. I would need to plan for someone else to watch my children or daycare, so I could have time to tend to a special needs baby. Plus I'd want to research all the best specialists and meet with them before the baby is born. I would like to know what to expect as soon as the baby is born and know some of the terminology the dr may use.  It's a decision that is to each their own🙂

Getting mine done on Thursday. I will be 9 weeks 4 days then. We have had two losses this year, one being chromosomal issues so we are 100% getting it done. I want to be as prepared as possible. My insurance also covers it, so there really is no reason for us not to get it done!

I'm 12 weeks and we did ours mid 10 weeks and it was hugely resssuring (and lovely to know ours is a boy!). Very worth it for us.

I just got done at my doctors appointment where she told me that Medicaid no longer pays for it. Out of pocket would be around 250. I didn't want it done. I had the quad screening done my first pregnancy and was told there was a very high chance my son had down syndrome. He is fine, so we're not getting on3 done this time.
