I asked a dr who considers himself a thrush expert.. and he says this isn't thrush.

It looks like thrush. A yeast infection in the mouth. Try putting gentian violet on your nipple before feeding.  Let it dry and then feed. It will stain the babies lips purple but won't harm.

This showed up just as we were treating her for thrush with Gentian Violet. It completely cleared up immediately from her tongue and cheeks. Is it possible it would come back this bad this quickly?

Looks like thrush to me! Go to the Dr they will give her and you meds.
