Spotting/cycle while breastfeeding

Any moms start spotting or have a cycle already while breastfeeding? My baby will be 8 weeks tomorrow and I started spotting a couple of days ago. I saw my OB/GYN today she acted like she was a little surprised by it but checked and said it was ok. Just wondering if anyone else has had this.
