How much coffee are you drinking? Im 4 weeks and have cut down to 6-8oz per day and it's HARD. I'm tired!

I am a major coffee drinker! I usually drink a few cups in the morning and then go get a large coffee on the way to take my daughter to school. Since finding out I'm pregnant I cut back to one cup in the morning. 
It's not very fun, I just keep drinking a bunch of water and imagining its coffee. Lol

I've cut down a lot. But man I miss it. I was a heavy caffeine drinker. I've been drinking a bottled cold coffee in the morning that has 50 mg of caffeine. And during the day I'll drink unsweet tea sometimes like with meals etc. I really want an iced peppermint mocha latte from Starbucks 😔 it has 75 mg in a tall but I don't know if I should! I went to the midwife/OB yesterday, she said 2 cups of coffee a day is fine. That wasn't really specific. I'd rather know numbers and milligrams.

Caffeine probably  wont help with  the exhaustion  you're feeling.  Before  i knew I was pregnant  I had these extreme bouts of exhaustion  and Id have my coffee to pick  me up and nothing..... might as well had water.  I stick to one cup now,  alternate with decaf depending on my mood.  I really don't feel like the caffeine does anything anymore

You can still have caffeine while pregnant, up to 160mg/day especially if you're already used to drinking caffeine. 
I've never been a coffee/caffeine drinker so I just don't have any at all

Lately the thought of coffee makes my stomach turn 😭 I'm hoping that changes soon and I can at least have a little on days when I've been awake since 3am.
