Should I be worried? Period still active 42 days and counting. Advice Needed!
So Ive had a pretty regular period since I was 18 im 23 now, not on any birth control or anything but am sexual active with my boyfriend/partner whom I've been with almost 2 years. Niether of us have any stds or hiv or anything, were checked regularly.
He recently had to go away for 2 months so we didnt have any sexual intercourse during that time. As soon as he got home though we went into overdrive and went at it multiple times a day. I started my period a week before he came home and was expecting it to be over by the time he returned home but it didnt. Im now going on 42 days of my period with only 2 days where I thought it was over but it just started right back up.
I am also anemic if that has any difference in it. Ive been super emotional, tired, depressed, and miserable to be honest and am at my wits end. As well as my partner not knowing what to do to help me. I am scared to make a doctors appointment because I looked online at the possible problems and they weren't at all comforting.
Any advice on what this could be and/or what I should do would be amazing. If you have had the same thing happen to you, what did you do and did you ever stop bleeding?

Update: i bled consistantly for 45 days, then itbjustvstopped randomly. I thoughy ibwas good and it was over. But afterv5 days with no signs of it, suddenly it came back full force as if it never stopped. Making dr appt todqy any ideas or help with what to do till then? The cramps are unbarable and my moods are unbalanced and i cant handle it anymore.
