mucus plug

So i have been getting really tight feelings in my stomach, Do not last long as I put it down to Braxton hicks, But I have just gone to the toilet and when I whipped I seen a snot like mucus on the tissue.. I'm only 34 weeks and a day.. There was no blood.. Has anyone has the same ?!

And I have also been feeling really unwell the last few days, Upset tummy baby is active but today has seem to quiet down.. Should I ring the midwife or is this all normal ?! I am a first time mum that suffers with anxiety:/ x
