My hubby and I just got married 11/28, and I STILL look down at my wedding set and just admire it for as long as I can (before my hubby catches me and goes, "Are you staring at your rings again?")! I LOVE them SO MUCH, and the funny thing about it was when my husband proposed, he actually APOLOGIZED to me because he couldn't afford a "big diamond"! I told him, "Are you kidding me?! It's PERFECT, and more beautiful than I could have imagined! The only thing I was concerned about was snagging the man, NOT huge bling!"' To be honest, I would've said yes if the thing was made of tin foil... and would have been just as thrilled! So here's my beautiful ring that I'm so in love with, but that my hubby actually felt bad about and apologized for not being bigger... Silly, silly man!! I love my little diamond rings because they're petite, feminine and totally "me"! I even told him before he proposed that it didn't have to be diamonds... I'm a fan of opals, topaz, and sapphires and would have been just as happy with a "non traditional" ring as well. So ladies, let's see your unique rings!! If that diamond is itty-bitty like mine, be proud and show that baby off!! It's the man that placed it on your finger that means the most anyway! If you've got something other than diamonds, I wanna see that too!! I love rings that aren't the "standard", but still reflect the woman wearing it so well and the love you share with your man! Show off your man's good taste! Lol! (And yes, I know there's been many posts like this one, but I've never been able to "join the posse" until now!) :-)
