Does this sound right to you??

MotherOfAllBoys
I'm 36 weeks pregnant, bubs is a really big boy measuring several weeks ahead, the midwives so far have been concerned about his size and have kept saying I'll need to be induced early due to it. So they booked me in to see their Resident doctor there about it, she however says that despite him being big, she's refusing to even consider inducing me, she said yes I'm at risk of him getting stuck in the birth canal with his shoulders, but she'd rather give me an emergency c section if that happens rather than induce at 39-40 weeks! She also claims "every baby measures that big", really?? So why are all the midwives so concerned?? They see pregnant woman all day every day, yet they're concerned. On top of that, I'm currently 36 weeks, so going in to the last month of pregnancy, and the midwives and my GP have stated at every single appointment that 36 weeks onward I'll need weekly appointments...not this Resident doc though, no, she told me to book my next appointment in 4 weeks time on my frikkin due date! So between now and my due I'll be getting NO prenatal appointments, check-up or care. WTH?? Does any of that sound right to you?? My husband says I should book an appointment with my GP doctor for a second opinion.
