My last pregnancy we continued to have sex in that position, just had to make some adjustments. My upper body was propped up a bit and he didn't put his weight on me. We didn't do it in that position often though, cow girl was really the only one that worked for us. We couldn't do doggy because my cirvex was too low and it was painful.
