Any women dealing with swelling?? I'm 8 months pregnant and just blew up I swear! tell me about your symptoms...

At 8 months along, after having nearly no symptoms or any problems throughout this pregnancy. I found myself feeling like professor Klump and getting bigger in my calves and ankles and feet. Now my fingers feel fat too. I have really lean features and tiny little ankles and scared they will never return!!

Anyone else have this problem or dealt with it while in their last trimester??

It could be normal and it could also be a sign of pre-eclampsia. Check with your doctor. My ankles swell sometimes when I do toouch that day.

Yes, my boots are hard to get on- then when I do get them on- they feel so tight- same with all my other shoes. And my hands do feel a little more swollen than normal but mostly my feet.

I have issues with swelling. Blood pressure is always perfect, I just retain a lot of water I suppose. Last week my wedding ring was stuck! Drink TONS of water, like at least a gallon per day, preferably more. Stay far away from high sodium foods. And try Epson salt baths and massage. All help with swelling. I started taking my own advice last week and last night finally got that wedding ring off! So relieved I didn't have to cut it.

I swell every day, but my doctor had me report to labor and delivery last week when the swelling didn't go down for three days.  Fortunately, all was well and completely normal...but I've been told that I will likely have significant swelling for the remainder of my pregnancy (joy!).  All that to say, it can be completely normal, but definitely let your doctor know so she can rule our preeclampsia or any other underlying problems.

I have lost my ankles too!! I read that cucumber lemon water can help too!

Definitely, 100% call your doc... When that happened to me at the end of my first pregnancy, my blood pressure spiked out of nowhere and I ended up on bedrest for the last few weeks of my pregnancy. Definitely not something to wait and see on because Preeclampsia can develop quickly. In the meantime, drink lots of water and avoid salty foods. ☺

I will get it when I work because I have to sit for 12 hours behind a desk, but when I'm off work I'm fine and usually it's related to not drinking enough water. But with my first it happened earlier and the swelling was worse, but not preclampsia or anything like that, just so much tightness in my calves, it drove me nuts!

Haven't had this yet- but with my other two I did.  Left the hospital with my hands and ankles back to normal- so don't worry.  It's super temporary.

I'm in the same boat. My feet and ankles are really swollen especially after being on my feet all day at work. I asked my doctor if I should be concerned and he said it wa completely normal. I find my hands are swelling now and are sore. Still totally normal for this stage in our pregnancy. Oh what fun! 😉

Up until about 3 weeks ago I only swelled up when I spent 4 hours on a plane. Now my feel are in a constant state of marshmallowly pain! I work full time plus anf that includes 2 12 hour days a week and those days are the worst!! This was after getting home from a 12 hour day. My doctor says since my BP has remained low and steady that preeclampsia is not a concern and there is the much that we can do for it. I use a spa foot bath with epsom salts and the hottest water I can stand a few times a week. That brings some relief.
