Home pregnancy test HELP

I am now a week and 2 days late for my period. The very first day I was supposed to get it was a normal flow but spotting after that.

I bought the first response tests but avcidebtly left them in my truck for 5 hours in below freezing temps. I took one and it came up negative. Was the test good still reliable, the package says don't freeze... I did wait for it to be room temp before I used it.

I am to be married in 7 months and don't want a shotgun wedding..
